Congratulations, Anne Mangen

Once time colleague and still working in similar fields, Anne Mangen recently defended her Dr. art. on "New narrative pleasures? A cognitive-phenomenological study of the experience of reading digital narrative fictions".

Anne defended her thesis at NTNU, the Norwegian Technological University in Trondheim, but she has spent much of her research period in California, since about 2000.

Hurrah for Anne Mangen!

Perhaps she remembers "Let Sleeping Dogs Lie," a photocopy artwork......

Could this blog put me in touch with her?

I am planning to come to Sweden as a guest artist for a month next summer. It would be fun to meet somewhere in Scandinavia....

I am sorry, but I have lost touch with Anne as well. I am not even certain if she is in Scandinavia or in USA at the moment. If she reads my blog - which I doubt - she may pick this up. Weirder things have happened online :)

Good luck!

I'm not sure if either of you have hotten in touch with Anne since then (and whether you'll see this comment since the post was so long ago) - but you'll reach her at anne.mangen@uis.no - so; yes! she's back in Scandinavia and doing well.
